One of the world's top turntablists:
Mister Dibbs

Jon Doe & Signify
The Host & the Headliner:
Egon & Mr. Dibbs get it together!
From the Sept. 30, 1999 edition of the Nashville Scene...

"If you missed 91 Rock's astounding Ultimate Breaks and Beats benefit last May, you lost out on a live jazz set by Weldon Irvine, several skilled local DJs, and a madly enthusiastic appearance by San Francisco's renowned mix-master Peanut Butter Wolf. But the night's reigning bad-ass was Mr. Dibbs from Cincinatti's 1200 Hobos crew. Ranked in a SPIN cover story as the world's sixth best turntablist, Mr. Dibbs kicked off slow, to the consternation of three hecklers down front. Without his narrowed eyes leaving theirs, he started stacking grooves and beats like a man juggling a tower of spinning plates. It's the only time we've ever seen someone man the wheels of steel with extended middle fingers. He'll be back tonight to inaugurate 91's monthly Shapes of Rhythm benefit series with organizers DJ Egon and Count Bass D from WRVU's 911 Emergency, Kentucky DJ Jon Doe, and a rare local appearance by world-class Brooklyn turntablist DJ Signify, whose tapes Mixed Messages and Signifying Breaks are legend."
